It is listed at 1116 Washington St, Hoboken, NJ 07030, which places it among the local businesses of Hoboken that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 8:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach M & P Biancamano at (201) 795-0274; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Another great find in Hoboken! During one of my previous trips, M&P Biancamano was closed for vacation, so I was happy to find them open this time and glad I finally stopped in. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with their fresh mutz, roasted peppers, hot peppers, and balsamic. The sandwich was massiveβ€”stacked high with chicken and served with generous portions of fresh mozzarella. It was another case where I couldn't finish the whole thing in one sitting; I happily headed home with leftovers. Since I stopped in after the lunch rush, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Pete and Theresa. Business had slowed down enough that I was able to get a picture of them without disrupting the flow or annoying hungry customers. Such a great couple who truly made me feel at home and appreciated. Dont see that too often nowadays. All in all, it was a fantastic lunch with a great old-school vibe from the moment you walk through the door. They offer small seating areas both indoors and outdoors, and the weather today was perfect for dining outside. While I was craving chicken today, almost any of the other options on the menu looked equally delicious. There are so many great delis in

My Husband and I moved to NC 16 years ago. We came back for a visit an of course we had to stop here. The food is still fantastic as well as the owners.

I stopped in because I had seen online where they were rated a top place in New Jersey for Italian subs. It was packed full and served without silverware which made it kind of difficult to eat, as I would normally use a knife to press down in the middle and close the sandwich. The bread was a little harder than I had hoped for, which made it even more difficult to fold and to bite into. It tasted wonderful and I'm looking forward to eating the other half even though it's size makes it quite challenging. Half a sub and a drink were $20 and the service was exceptional!

This absolute gem is a holdover from a better time in Hoboken with family owned Italian delis and stores all over town that are slowly disappearing to corporate overlords. Happy to see that this family owned business also owns the building and so they're not going anywhere. Quite simply the best deli in town. The sandwiches are massive and overstuffed with homemade meats using the best breads and ingredients. The mayo is the best I've ever tasted and the muzz is creamy and juicy and unlike anything I've ever tried. Made daily. And if that's not enough, have a dish with their homemade red sauce. It brings me back immediately to the Sunday dinners of my childhood. The owners are an amazing Italian couple from Salerno and they couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. I hope this place is around forever and a day.
